Over half term we went to Rome. It's 22 years since we last went to Rome and although the Eternal City hasn't changed much, the queues certainly have. Can you believe that last time we went there was no queue for St Peter's, we just walked in, but this time there was a five hour queue around St Peter's Square!?! (We didn't bother).
Luckily, we skipped the two hour queue for the Vatican Museum by booking on-line before we went. Hurrah for the internet!
