Getting close to the edge now

Things are piling up.

26 reports left to write by Monday, then form reports due.

Strike looming on Wednesday and things are getting very stressful at school.

Husband came home last night saying his car's engine management system light was on and he would be taking my car for the weekend (to various football things) while I try to sort his car out.

I'm not happy.

The stress is beginning to show.

I forgot to order any fruit this week in my Tesco shop.

I forgot to buy a present for the girl whose party daughter is attending this afternoon.

No Christmas shopping done yet.

I just want to go to bed until it's all over.

time to throw the Christmas shopping list at the other half. PS a days pay for a day off to catch up also seems like an opinion regardless of your political swing :)

Oh no. Lists. Make lists. At least that helps me get my head round what there is to do, even if it doesn't all get done!

Kelloggsville - yes, it would be, but for many, complicated reasons, I am not striking on Wednesday; it's business as usual at my school. I can't really blog about it, but it's adding to the stress.

Expat mum - I absolutely agree, that's my next job, make lists!

Shop on the web and get it delivered to someone who's in most of the time or who's available to go to the sorting office to pick it up!!!

Or could it be delivered to school?

If you're that stressed Amazon do a rather expensive wrapping service which may be worth paying for in the end if it saves you worry? I must admit I love Amazon for all the variety they do, so useful for this time of year.

Its just that time of year isn't it. Where deep breathing is needed but not so easy to come by.

Claire - feeling slightly better since I ordered some stuff from Amazon yesterday to be delivered to school and I thrust a list of MCFC stuff at hubby for him to get from the City shop. If the worst comes to the worst I can always buy everyone a voucher and bake them a cake!

Polly - deep breathing was very necessary yesterday, and chocolate, and wine.

Laughing that you forgot to buy a birthday present for daughter's friend. I did exactly the same thing - realised with horror on Saturday that I had nothing to give P's friend on Sunday! (Luckily, could fit in quick dash into the nice toyshop in nearby village in between N's flu jab, trip to bank and post office, and gymnastics.)

You can even order gift vouchers on line and get them delivered to school too!! Hope the choc and wine helped, even for only a short time x

I'm all done with Christmas shopping, did it all in November. Now just need to write my cards. I'm all for going back to bed, until the 24th perhaps!
