Quick update:
Daughter was enrolled into Brownies this evening and is now a proper Imp (it figures).
She has gone to bed reading her "How to Be a Brownie" book which she brought home this evening.
I now have the list of dates and contact numbers on my pinboard in the kitchen and I've just spent an hour sewing Pack, County and Six badges onto her sash.
All is well with my little Brownie!

Phew, so glad to hear that it is all sorted.
Ooooh - I was an Imp. Quite fitting really!
I'm really pleased for her (and I was an Imp too, always longed to be a Scottish Kelpie though). Do you think she would have been enrolled last night if you hadn't said anything?
Fabulous news I am glad it is all sorted and she is a happy Brownie. Jut reminder her to do her 'Good Turn Every Day' and you can put your feet up....in theory
Jen - I don't think so. I think my flagging it up made them look at how long she'd been there and realise that she (and a few others) have been waiting a long time.
Tawny - I'm working on the Good Turn thing; she's not quite up to making me a cup of tea yet, but I'll live in hope!
Well done Mummy! I think you need a badge too! For perseverance!

You always knew she was a little imp, didn't you? I just knew you'd be saddled with sewing on badges! Commiserations.
yeah well done - and lots of badges for you to sew as well - the sore fingers begin

How lovely. I spent many years in the Brownies and Guides. I even met my first husband through a Rangers/Venture Scout camp, many moons ago!
Hope she has a wonderful time.
