I've done the washing and ironing.

I've done the weekly food shop.

And I've been baking.

Helen - partly, I already had the recipe which I wanted to do, so I tried them at GF to see what they tasted like. They are lovely!

Ooo these look lovely... dont suppose you post? If not would you share the recipe and I'll make my own less sophisticated version.

Mrs Average - sorry, you'll have to make your own. It's basically a Victoria Sponge recipe with added strong Early Grey tea, then add some Earl Grey to the buttercream as well. You need to make it strong to taste it though, mine were a bit weak on bergamot flavour.

These look amazing! How on Earth do you have time to make things like this? What's your secret??

Adventures of a Working Mum - it doesn't take five minutes to rustle up a batch of cakes while the oven is already on for our evening meal. The decorating can take 20 - 30 mins, I admit, but worth it!
