It's been a busy couple of weeks since I went to the Good Food Show.
It's also been a hassly couple of weeks for various reasons.
There's been some good stuff and some irritating stuff, but I've finally made it to the end of term!
Yes, I've broken up today!
So what have I been up to?
Well, there was Sports Day where daughter gave it her all:
At work there was Speech Day, "Picnic in the Park" featuring a Take That Tribute Band, our Department End of Term Meal and millions of reports to write. There was singing in a concert in Manchester.
There was the usual taking daughter to parties.
And there was husband's triumphant second place in his work's Masterchef competition:

You can see why we were happy for him to practise on us at home:

(I taught him everything he knows!)
And now, finally, I can relax.........
......... well, apart from the shopping and packing for our holidays!

There was driving all over the Northwest before and after work due to problems with husband's car. Don't get me started on last night's quest to find him at Saddleworth Golf Club!

Enjoy your holiday, it certainly sounds well deserved.
I swear you break up earlier and earlier each year! It's either that or the years are flying by way too quick!
And guess what! I know where Saddleworth Golf Club is!!! :-)
Have a very happy Summer holidays - hope the weather is fine for you all and not peeing down in previous years!
My two are breaking up today for our 2 week Winter holidays, can't wait!
Wow! That is a lot going on at your house! Relax now and tell your Hubs congrats!
Claire - It wasn't the location of the Golf Club that was the problem, it was the fact that every road I tried to go down was closed! Even the diversions led to closed roads!
PS It is currently raining.
Gosh, we still have 2 weeks left, and it's manic!! Just when you think you can slow down there's the end of term play, sports day, reports, trips, camp....you know the sort of thing!!!!!!
Happy Holiday to you all
(Your daughter has grown lots hasn't she?)
