I'm a parent of a year 2 pupil and ...........

On Monday I donated books and toys.

On Tuesday I donated toy and sweet filled jam jars for the hoop-la.

On Wednesday I donated three boxes of chocolates for the chocolate tombola.

On Thursday I donated four bottles for the bottle tombola.

Today I made two dozen cakes for the cake stall:

And tomorrow I get to spend an obscene amount of money trying to win or buy them all back!!

(Yes, it's our School Christmas Fair!)

Those cakes are awe inspiring. You are so giving of yourself in time and money. I hope you have a great time tomorrow.

I had to laugh - it sounds so familiar - I used to help out at my daughter's school.

Your cupcakes are absolutely beautiful! If I made them....they would NOT even look remotely close to that! You will have no trouble selling them!

Maybe you'll be as lucky as we were. I was far too disorganised to produce all the required gifts in time, so sent hubbie to the fair with strict instructions to spend lots of money instead.

We won two hampers, two boxes of chocolates, four bottles and a night's babysitting. That doesn't even account for the cakes we bought or games the children participated in.

I still think we got more than we paid for!

Well I bet they are the best ones there!
Maybe you should be a cake manufacturer! They look so professional.

And when do you have to donate the partridge in a pear tree?

They are always wanting donations for something at primary school, thankfully at high school they leave you alone much more.(Although the downside is you loose the Christmas plays/concerts as well) P.S Your cakes are fantastic.

Wow! That's amazing! I would imagine that you will probably need to get in quick to win back those cakes! They must be super-popular!
