It was time ........

The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed a new ticker in my sidebar:

It was time .......

It was definitely time.

Too much comfort food over winter has taken its toll.

Too little exercise since daughter was born.

Too much chocolate.

Too much wine.

And far too many cupcakes!

I need to get trim again.

I'm trying something new and if it works, I'll let you know.

Maggie - I think the public element is what will keep me on track. Hope so anyway!

Moannie - I ain't giving up the chocolate!

Scrappy - wine and chocoalte will still pass my lips, but the cupcakes will be out of bounds (for a bit). You can't deprive yourself of all the good things in life!

Kelloggsville - I thought that at first, but now I'm determined to get rid of my muffin middle. Wish me luck!

If it succeeds, let me know I ought to lose 1.5 stones to get back to a fit weight again.

ADDY - if it works, I'll blog about it so you can see if it will work for you.

Oh, you are brave. My 'ticker' is only on Wii Fit Plus ... and even that has a password to access it!

Well my daughter has me on a permanenet diet, and she must have eyes in the back of her head because she always manages to stop me sneaking the odd bit of cake or biscuit ! Actually it has been very good for me, and I'm just beginning to stop rebelling lol !!
I just can't agree to do the exercise thing though...:-/

Catharine - I think I need to be open about this or I will not succeed. I am using a Wii as well - hate that personal trainer on Wii Fit, though.

Muddling along mummy - the annoying thing is that I lost the baby weight quickly, but have put an extra stone on since we moved to this house - must be the stress driving me to wine and chocolate!

Becky - I liked the exercise thing before daughter was born, but literally do not have the time as I work full time and pick up daughter straight after work. I'm trying Wii Fit as part of my regime though - good fun, but not really exercise!

Good luck. If I can help with some inspiration, I'm squeezing in a couple of early morning trips to the gym and a Saturday morning run.

I have a bikini to get into in June and I don't want to give up the wine or the cupcakes...

I think the best feeling is when clothes start to feel more comfortable!
