I had never in my entire life cried more over the news story. Ever. Once you are a mother yourself, stuff like that really gets you.

It gets to you, doesn't it?
I have only ever experienced losing my children for a few seconds and I can assure you that the panic is beyond anything that a mother has to endure.
How could anyone function properly all this time, not knowing what has happened to their child?
