Oh lucky you!
Still, that gives you plenty of time for blogging... right?

Maggie May - the advantage of working in an independent school - longer holidays!

Really Rachel - I intend to (apart from the incessant decorating)

Tawny - have a great time

Catharine - I hope I can catch up on my blog reading and maybe write some more interesting posts, but it may all be about the plumber, joiner, plasterer, etc (Hall, Stairs, Landing next on the agenda)

But my teacher friends would have me believe they work hard even in the holidays! Now I know the truth...! ;) Enjoy the summer!

Family Affairs - it's great!

Really Rachel - yes, they e-mailed me to let me know, I must do a post about it.

OMG - If you're feeling jealous, just think of all the other weeks I spend trying to teach teenagers!

Mummy Cow - you'll be on holiday soon, just hang in there

Michelloui - I don't even bother telling people about the work I do in the holidays, I just like to rub in how much time I have off; especially the August paycheck when I haven't taught a single lesson! When people make derogatory comments about teachers' holidays I usually say, "If you want these holidays, just become a teacher" and they invariably say "Oh no, I couldn't do your job" Nuff said!
