.......... and I saw Peter Pan:
paddled in the Princess Diana Fountain with my Daddy:
went to the Tower of London, saw the Queen's jewels and met a Beefeater:
chased pigeons in Trafalgar Square:
went on the London Eye:
spent seven hours in the Science Museum (yes, really, seven hours, mummy counted) where I saw Wallace and Gromit:
and went to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard. The Queen wasn't in, but on the way there I met one of her guards:
but the best bit about my holiday in London was ...........
...... having hot chocolate and a chocolate muffin for breakfast!
(Yes, that last one was what she put in her 'news' book at school!)

My boy did that too - took him to the Natural History Museum to see the dinosaur...he remembers the enormous cookie in the cafe.
What a fantastic school holiday - she's one lucky little girl. I'm with her on the chocolate and muffin part, they beat the london eye hands down lol x
That's funny, makes you wonder why you bother with all the cultural bit. You might as well have stayed at home with cocoa and a bun!!!
Seriously though, it looks like you had a fab time :)
Lovely photos. Reminded me of happy family holidays as a child. This 'having it all' business - any pointers?
great photos, looks like you all had a great time....mmmm muffins for breakfast thats a good idea!
Great photos and a perfect age to visit London for the first time, can't wait to take Erin.
Glad you enjoyed our lit'l old city. You had fabulous weather too.
Sounds like loads of fun and her words so precious!
We took the Beautiful Children to Florida in all it's full Disneyfied glory for 3 weeks and my daughter then aged 6 wrote about a picnic she had at her aunt's in Glasgow in her "what did we do over the summer" thing.
yes we felt it was 8 grand well spent too
Ha ha ha brilliant. Bless her!
sounds (and looks) wonderful, salad days - good for you x
They all do it.
Last year eldest son wrote in his diary at school after we'd been on holiday to Shark Bay, a World Heritage Site where he'd been on a catamaran and seen dolphins, sharks, sea snakes, dugongs and many more wonderful creatures, that he'd liked eating his breakfast in the car on the journey!
We could have just driven there and back and given him food on the way and he'd have been happy!
Ho hum.
Looks like a fabulous trip. I love London. I used to live in the South and I do miss day trips there. Good to see the Diana fountain open again. It was closed when I last visited.
Impressed with 7 hours in the museum! Sounds like you had a busy time!
I could spend that long in a science museum. :-)
Great pictures, and great memories.
If you need a good laugh, stop by and check out my latest posting!
What an awesome trip - she looks so happy and excited!
Oh that looks like such a wonderful time. I love her similing face. And the chocolate?
OH. THE. CHOCOLATE!
We've done all the same things, mums most think the same way. What a great trip and you had fab weather as well!
