Was it Mothers' Day?

Did I get a day of pampering? A day off all the chores and the childcare?

Or even just a lazy afternoon watching TV?

No, I did not.

Why?

Because Manchester City moved their match from Saturday to Sunday ruining many a Mother's Mothers' Day in Manchester.

Thanks MCFC!

Typical. Bloody selfish. The annoying thing is that if they do the same thing on Father's Day all the blokes will be really delighted to get to a football match for the day! Lx

Monthers Day here in Oz is in May, at the very end of Autumn which is also soccer season. So I have eldest son playing soccer in the mornings and husband playing soccer in the afternoons and two soccer kits to wash at the end of the day. Not much chance of a nice easy going lazy Mother's Day for me either!!!
