So true! I'm ready to be back on my usual schedule. I guess that's why we begin to look forward with great anticipation to the holiday season every year in the fall. Without a break from all the "fun" it just wouldn't be the same! Back to work all!!!

You are lucky to go back to school on Wednesday. I go back tomorrow and I have just said goodbye to daughter & grandsons. Feel a bit bereft now. Won't have time to think tomorrow, though.
Decorations packed away and trying to resist eating up all left over goodies to get rid of them. "A minute on the lips....... a lifetime on the hips!"

Yup, tree and decorations done. Yup, Christmas Radio Times is in the recycling bin. We don't have any Quality Street.

School doesn't start till Wednesday? Teachers are back tomorrow here, and kids back on Tuesday.

Hmmm... I haven't done any of that yet. Mind you I don't even know what Christmas Radio Times are (a newspaper?) and I haven't had Quality street since we got home from ye olde hometown a week ago.

I really should put the tree away, though.

Happy New Year! And good luck n' all that back at school.

Wednesday - the second day of Epiphany! Definitely after the Christmas holiday.

I haven't done 1 or 2 and I'm back at school tomorrow. I can always face another quality street though.

I am a very sad auntie.

Hope you're feeling better - is it worth suggesting you don't go back to school if you still have bronchitis?

I can hear that falling on deaf ears!

Happy New Year!

Hmm, 'you can't face another Quality Street chocolate'? Is that even possible?

Hope you're feeling better and that your return to work is as easy as it can be.

Take care.

Decorations are away but tree is still up - Darling Husband supposed to do that as this 5ft wife is unable to reach the top.

I could go another quality street though....

When does one ever get tired of Quality Streets?

Yes, Wednesday for me. I do get generous holidays working in the independent sector, mind you, they own you body and soul in term time!

Reluctant - Radio Times is a TV listing magazine published by the BBC. It's tradition to buy the two week Christmas edition and circle all the things you want to watch!

FFF - the fun bit is choosing a body shape you want, not what you've got! I last looked like my avatar when I was 17!

Auntie Gwen, Tara, Polly and Laura (nice to have you back in blog land Laura) - you obviously haven't eaten as many QS as me!

Mummy Cow and Claire - I went back to the GP today for a check up and a new inhaler. He says I'm OK to go back to work, but if it gets worse go back to him. We'll see what happens.

I fell over a Christmas tree last night whilst walking the dogs. One of our neighbours literally stood in their living room and lobbed it out of the window, they were THAT fed up with it. It still had little bits of tinsel on it.

We are back at school already!
I don't think I ever get sick of Quality Street. Especially the strawberry creams. Mmmmmm...Good luck back at school on Weds. Hope the school boiler holds out in this frosty spell! Think North West is set to hit -7 tonight so you might need your thermals on!

Oh so true. We took ours down last night and I remarked how cold and naked the house felt!

Happy New Year!

We took student son back to university, last night and when we returned, I noticed one sad chocolate tree decoration, left all alone on the table.

Enjoy the last day of your holiday. I hope that school goes OK, tomorrow and I'm glad to hear that your bronchitis is getting better.
