Ooo Matron!

Well, I really am off to hospital. Not to stay, just a referral from my GP to the chest clinic for an x-ray and for a specialist to try and sort me out.

So, I've organised the morning off school tomorrow, left work for my classes, arranged for someone to take my register and for someone to do my lunch duty.

Husband is taking daughter to school.

So all I have to do is ......

............ take this

a nice flask of hot

and not forgetting a lovely bar of

And settle down for a few hours in the hospital waiting room.

Bliss!

Oh I do hope they find out what's wrong and get it sorted!

Hopefully you won't be plagued by whatever it is over Christmas!

Take Care x

Do the words pot, kettle, black mean anything to you? We teachers are hopeless at taking time off! I only stayed off today because I passed out in the bathroom at 3am. Hope all goes well tomorrow. Don't go back to school if they tell you not to...

Oh dear you don't sound good at all-I hope they sort you out properly. There's nothing worse than being ill over Xmas. I usually cop for a cough on the 23rd!

Get well soon, Working Mum.

Aawh, I think you needed me with you, with me being an ex nurse and all. I actually quite fancy the idea myself, (without the being ill bit obv)

Hope all goes well x

A couple of hours in a heaving waiting room, followed by a couple of seconds with a consultant should make it all a lot better, Honestly, you'll just be glad to get out into the fresh, Mancunian air!

PS - glowbra! Really!

Thanks for the comments - I will give you an update soon.

Mummy Cow - I know what you mean, my test for whether I need to take the day off is if I'm crying in the bathroom at 6.30am!

The Dotterel - I don't understand the 'glowbra' comment?*!

I'm pleased you are having some proper attention. As my Nan always used to say-"There has to be stops in music..." I never really got it until I became a housewife and mother.

Take it easy and hope all is well

best wishes to you and yours for a Happy Christmas and 2009
