Manchester says no!

I'm not usually political, but I did feel strongly about this one:

Just give us decent public transport and we'll use it.

Don't crush people with more taxes!!

Amen! I am not one to balk at paying taxes, but I do ask questions when they start raising taxes under the pretense of using it for something else. My opinions are:

1. What mechanisms are in place to ensure that every penny collected on the new tax will be used for what they say it will?

2. What about cutting out wasteful spending?

What with the rigged voting on STRICTLY and the numerous other examples of mal administration we should start getting mad. and remind these people that they were voted in by us, they are our servants and their job is to SERVE us and do our bidding.
