Crystal or Dulux?

Part of my mission to "Have it all" involves having a long lasting, happy marriage.

Well, today is our 15th Wedding Anniversary, so getting there!

And they said it wouldn't last .............

Traditionally the 15th is the Crystal Anniversary.

Ours is more "Paintbrush and roller set together with 15 litres of Warm Beige" Anniversary!

That's love for you!

Happy Anniversary!! Doesn't time just fly by? I am a big believer in more realistic, practical gifts. We don't do the traditional gifts in the US really. I think some people do, but not too many. My husband and I usually don't get each other anything. There always seems to be something more important that we need, i.e. a new washing machine and dryer, new septic tank, new water heater...

However, this year I did get an Ipod which was very exciting!!

HAPPY ANIVERSARY TO YOU BOTH!!

I'd go for paint if I could get someone to help me!

Congratulations! I think you should create a whole new 'traditional' anniversary gift list for the modern age. Warm Beige paint fits in there perfectly.

Happy Anniversary! The card is in the post but I think I may have posted it a bit late, mind like spaghetti at the moment!

Anyway, have a good 'un and enjoy your holiday. Maybe you could buy each other a 99 for a present?!

Congratulations.

I have every sympathy with the painting, I've just painted a WHOLE house, walls and ceilings. It felt like it was the Forth Bridge at times!

Best wished for the next 15 years (of marriage that is!)

Saturday is our 11th. Havn't a clue what that is, but agree that it's a big part of having it all. Probably the biggest part!

Hiya,
Hopped over from Single Parent Dad's blog. I'm from Northumberland but originated from Yorkshire/Lancashire (they moved the border) Great blog, I'm in the middle of packing to go off to Florida on Sat but will check out more when I get chance. Will give you a wave as we fly from Manchester!

Happy Anniversary and good luck with the house.
